HARRY P0TTER B00K LAUNCH.

The world wide Harry Potter book launch was on Saturday, July 21st. Around 40 people were there, and of course Angelo shows up at 6 in the morining. I woke up at 6, made a quick stop at java joes for breakfast, then went down to the bookstore. I was the 3rd person to get a copy of the Deathly Hallows in America! How awsome is that?! haha. Heres some pics:

We have a new family member! Mitzy`s has a sister! Mo`kaa is a new addition to the family. She`s suppose to be my baby, but she attached to my mom, just like Mitzy did.

This is Mo`kaa.

My first time to go fishing. hehe. It was fun. The first beach we went to, I didn`t catch any fish. But the second beach we went to, the first fish I caught, jumped out of my hand, and Rocco didn`t make it in time to save it. What a looser. =] Then I got my second, but more like first, fish. I was so excited! && this time I got it unhooked in time to put it in the bucket. In the end, I caught a total of four fish. I could`ve had 7, but I lost 3 fish. Once again, Rocco was to slow to save them. It was a fun and hot day! Then we came to Jesse`s house, && I had to wait to use the shower because these boys don`t understand the concept of "Ladies First." Well now me && the boys are going to the field for my game.

MANAGAHA

I went to Managaha yesterday. It was fun, unfortunately I don`t have any pictures because my mom said "sand and camera`s don`t mix." haha.

So yesterday was family day, I spent the day with Jesse, Rocco, Diego, Donavin, and Zack. Being the only girl, of course I was picked on a lot. haha. Rocco & Donavin kept teasing about loving volley ball and not being able to get the ball over the net. But of course i proved those two doe doe`s wrong. =]

I went with the boys crab hunting, and I actually ate on of the crabs they caught. I was kind of grossed out by the thought of just eating the crab they caught, but now I can say I did. The boys also caught baby eels, shirmp, mud skippers, and crabs. But of course [Angelo], we put them back.

&& then we went swimming. Lana, those boys love to go were I cant touch the bottom. But its alright, I just jump on there backs, or hold on to the bouy. But crazy Rocco, always jumps on my back, especially where its deep.

&& then we went home. On the boat ride back, we were up on the top deck, and we played this game; Whoever can spot marine life first wins. Lai, Jesse && Rocco always cheat, but we all know I'm the real winner. =]

So that was how i spent most of my Friday. The rest of the day, I fell asleep.

HARRY POTTER && THE ORDER OF PHOENiX

Finally! The long awaited Harry Potter comes out. I must admit though, it wasnt as exciting as the book. I swear I remeber reading at the end that in the ministry of magic, there were brains in a tank. haha.

The movie theater wasnt as packed as it usually is. last movie, people were sitting on the stairs! Maybe its because were watched the 10 o'clock show. Its a good thing I didnt have to wait in the long line. Actually, I didnt have to wait in a line at all! haha. an-jello was there to save me a spot, so I was first in line. =]

This must be Harry Potter month because the book is coming out on the 21st. An-jello says the bookstores open until 2 am, but I dont remember them telling me that. haha. Gosh! I really want to know what goes on in the last book, because the ending of the Half Blood Prince was dramatic! Im not going to say what happens because I dont want to spoil it for those who havent yet to read it, but for those who have, you know what im talking about. hehe.

S.A.V.E Summer Camp.

i know i know. i havent updated in a long time. but its not my fault, really, blame my mother. just kidding. =]

DAY 1;

i love this game from last summer. hehe. in this game you use a floater, (the long foam one.) and you hit someone below the knees, and then they have take the floater from you, and tag you back. in a way its like duck duck goose. tap the head, and run around in a circle to you get to the empty spot, same thing. lol.

this was one of the experiments we did. we used bread to show the germs that are left on our hands after washing them, or without washing them. we also timed how long we washed our hands to see which time frame works better. (you cant see the bacteria yet.)

DAY 3; [yeah i dont have pictures from day 2.]

i think this was my favorite day, getting to hold the snake was awsome!
[that snake was squeezing my wrist, lol. you know, like the blood pressure thingy.]

that snake sure felt slimy. hehe.

this was the making of our fringe reef model. unfortunatley i dont have picutes of the finished product.

looks impossiable right?
this was another cool experiment we did, and i also dont have a picture of the outcome, but i`ll asure you it was clear, but maybe not drinkable. lol

this is all we got to use to turn this water clear.

at least we got most of the stuff out. hehe.

DAY 4;

this was when we were on harry`s show.
i was so smooth on the radio, i gave harry a fright. hehe. [dont worry harry, i wont take over you show, i`ll just make my own. just kidding.=) ]

DAY 5;

here we are at the dock, heading to managaha.

man was managaha fun. i didnt sleep until 5 in the morning. haha. we always didnt sleep in our tents that night! most of us ended up on the sand. haha. but the sunrise was beautiful. the smores for breakfast were good too.

Day Two...

okay so yesteday was fun. In the morninh, Rep.Kaipat took me to a Pagan Pozzolan meeting, which was interesting, and also super cold! Later on that day, Aunty Dasie, Klye, Dennis, && I went to go set up the multi-purpose center for the School Crisis Response by Steve.

Haha, me && those boys had fun. Lana every time I move a chair, si Klye`s gonna move it farther... lol.

After the workshop, a few of us went out to shirleys [i get pictures later from bev`s blog or steve`s.] && then we had some more fun, like always. [especially when your with aunty cinta && uncle gus!]

Anyway,Im on day 3 today, so imma get going...

First Day As An Summer Intern...

Today`s my first day as a summer intern! yes during the weekend i was physced, but on the drive over here I became, somewhat, nervous.

But my nervous-ness soon left when I settled in my own desk [cool huh], and started working on the job!

I feel so professional, even though its just running errands, taking calls, signing incoming papers, but it feels so cool! =]

tomorrow should be even better because it`s going to be crazy! Im going to help set up down at the multi-purpose center. Helping with the School Crisis Workshop. I`ll blog about it tomorrow, if i can...
